It's a good day to be me.

My beloved Kansas Jayhawks are in the NCAA Men's Tournament Final Four but there are much more important matters. My alma mater, Stanford, looks to repeat as national champions as they take on the Connecticut Huskies in the Women's Final Four tonight at 9:30 PM EST.

This marks the 14th consecutive Final Four for the Huskies, which is just bananas, but my Cardinal are no slouch. We're in our sixth Final Four in the last 13 seasons and have won 24 consecutive games.

Will Stanford get a win and get one step closer to repeating as champions or will UConn prove too much in a battle of the titans?

Let's check out the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook as we find value in this Stanford vs Connecticut Women's Final Four matchup:

UConn vs Stanford Prediction and Pick

The Huskies are coming off an incredible double-overtime win over NC State. They're led by one of the best players in the country in Paige Bueckers, whose 27 points in the Elite Eight led all scorers.

However, their ball movement against NC State was concerning. UConn recorded only 10 assists and relied on a lot of iso-ball. That can work, but it plays right into the hands of Stanford's elite defense. The Cardinal rank third nationally in block percentage and second in defensive rating, so the Huskies will have their hands full if they don't pass the rock more.

Stanford has been absolutely obliterating opponents lately. In their 24-game winning streak, which came against the third-toughest schedule in the nation by the way, the Cardinal have outscored opponents by an average of 18.8 points per game.

Cameron Brink leads the defending champs as the only player in college basketball to average at least 24 points, 15 rebounds, and four blocks per 40 minutes. Stanford has three players shooting over 40% from beyond the arc and has one of the best point guards in the game in Anna Wilson, who ranks in the top 1% in assist-to-turnover ratio.

Overall, my alma mater is just too deep for the Bueckers-dependent Huskies. Stanford is going to win their 25th in a row and get the chance to defend their national title.

Pick: Stanford -1.5 (-120)
