An iconic UFC fighter takes the octagon for the first time since the fall of 2020.

Holly Holm makes her return to the cage at 40 years old to face Ketlen Vieira in the main event of UFC Fight Night 206: Holm vs. Vieira. This event will take place in the smaller octagon at the UFC APEX facility with the card having 10 fights before the main event in the women's Bantamweight division.

Here are the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook for this event on Saturday, May 21:

Holly Holm vs. Ketlen Vieira Prediction and Odds

Holm is the name brand of this fight, but I can't back her as this big of a favorite after a long layoff. The former champion had to pull out of a pair contests since her last fight due to injuries, now she will match up against Vieira who has been able to show grappling prowess and can slow down Holm's offense.

"The Preacher's Daughter" has won eight of her 14 fights by knockout, but hasn't found a KO since 2017, and that's where a lot of her win equity is built into. To me, Vieira can weather that power from Holm with her ability to secure takedowns. She is 10 years young and are both listed at 5'8" with Vieira having one less inch of reach. She is going to engage in grappling much more as well, averaging 1.71 takedowns per 15 minutes and has four submission victories to her name.

While Holm can find a finish, there isn't enough recent activity for me to trust her as a massive favorite like this. Vieira is the better grappler and I'm going to trust her to cash for me as a near 2-1 underdog with her bottom control time.

LEAN: Vieira ML +190
