The UFC is back on ESPN with a fight night card ahead of a busy October that features two pay-per-view events.

There are 11 fights on the Fight Night Card this weekend, headlined by an intriguing women’s featherweight scrap between Aspen Ladd and Norma Dumont.

Let’s waste no time and cover the best bets for this card, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Best Bets For UFC Vegas 40

Main Event: Aspen Ladd (-130) vs. Norma Dumont (+110)

This is a curious line. Ladd is coming in on short notice in a bigger weight class for the first time. This could be in part because she missed weight in her scheduled fight earlier this month, shaking on the scales, but now she is jumping back in for a five round bout against Dumont?

Not only has Ladd fought in the UFC since 2019, she’s never gone five rounds (neither has Dumont to be fair).

I can’t understand this price on Ladd. Even if the favorite has more upside, not in this weight class, I’ll take the slight underdog Dumont to grind out a decision victory.

Pick: Dumont +110

Co-Main Event: Andrei Arlovski (-110) vs. Carlos Felipe (-110)

Arlovski is a gatekeeper of the heavyweight division and I don’t see him letting Flipe past. At 42 years old, Arlvoski has shown to have a granite chin and the ability to grind fights down to a halt.

Felipe on the other hand will come in with a two inch height and reach disadvantage and has not fought a technically sound fighter in the UFC like Arlovski.

Felipe is coming off of three straight wins against fringe UFC talents. While he’s more advanced in his age, ‘Pitbull’ continues to be competitive against middling competition, and I think he takes care of business on Saturday night against Felipe.

Pick: Arlovski -110

Prop Bet: L’udovit Klein (-380) vs. Nate Landwehr (+290)

I’m incredibly high on Klein as a prospect, a devastating striker and I think he’s in a great spot Saturday to finish his opponent, Landwehr.

Landwehr has lost two of his three UFC fights by knockout and Klein is a noted finisher. 16 of his 17 wins are by KO or submission, eight a piece. His nickname is ‘Mr. Highlight’ and I expect him to live up to it with a bounce back victory.

This prop isn’t available yet, but I’ll be looking to play Klein inside the distance at anything better than -130.

Pick: Klein inside the distance, Klein ML as a parlay piece
