US Women's Open Betting Preview: Odds and Predictions
The third women's golf major of 2023 is set to take place this week, just two weeks after their PGA Championship.
Much like the PGA Championship, the Women's U.S. Open is heading to a historic golf course for the first time in the tournament's history. The PGA Championship was at Baltusrol whereas the U.S. Open heads to Pebble Beach.
Let's take a look at the top 10 odds to win and then I'll give you my three best bets.

Picks to Win US Women's Open
Rose Zhang +1100
Yes, she's only played in two tournaments since turning professional, but she has done enough to be worthy of a bet to win her first major. In her tour starts, she won the Mizuho Americas Open and then finished T8 at the Women's PGA Championship, proving that she can contend at a major already in her young career.
Also, if you go just off of her first two starts, she's already gaining +0.7 more total strokes per round than the next best golfer.
I think she has a very real chance to win her first major this week.
Ashleigh Buhai +4500
I have bet on Ashleigh Buhai several weeks in a row now, with one of them resulting in a win. I still think oddsmakers are undervaluing her so I will continue to bet on her until they don't.
Buhai's lack of distance off the tee hurt her at Baltusrol, which I admitadely should've saw coming. But, at Pebble Beach, that's not going to hurt her nearly as much. She's fourth in strokes gained: approach this season and her putter has caught fire lately, even gaining 2.73 strokes in that area despite a T39 finish at the PGA Championship.
She continues to be the best value on the board on a weekly basis.
Megan Kang +4000
Megan Kang is one of the best ball strikers on the LPGA, but she has struggled with her putting for the majority of the season, ranking 126th in strokes gained on the greens. But, the great news is that she's coming off by far the best putting performance by her this season at the Women's PGA Championship.
She gained 3.39 strokes putting which led her to a T3 finish.
She already ranks fifth on the LPGA in strokes gained: tee-to-green, so if she's truly figured out her putting, she's extremely live to win this week.
