USC vs. California Prediction, Odds, Against Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 14
By Matt De Saro
Pac-12 rivals the USC Trojans and California Golden Bears rekindle their feud in the conference’s regular-season finale on Saturday night. The interstate rivals are both 4-7, so pride is the only thing on the line for this Golden State clash.
The Trojans come into this game looking to end the season on a high note after losing last week 35-31 to BYU. The team is led by QB Kedon Slovis who has struggled with a TD to INT ratio of 11/8. USC often mixes it up with Jaxon Dart under center but he has similar turnover issues and an 8/5 TD to INT rate.
Cal, meanwhile, got crushed last weekend by UCLA but enter this week as 4-point home favorites. Chase Garbers leads the offense with 2,354 yards passing. Garbers, however, also has an abysmal TD/INT rate of 16/8. It will be interesting to see just how many passes get picked off between both sides.

USC vs. California Prediction and Pick
While this is one of the least exciting games on the board for Week 14, there is still betting value to be had. There is no denying that these are two bad teams, but Cal has been playing much better in the last four weeks despite a 2-2 record to show for it.
The Bears beat Colorado and Oregon State in back-to-back games before losing a close game at Arizona. The following game they beat up on Stanford 41-11 before last week’s blowout loss to UCLA.
In that same period, USC lost to Arizona State, UCLA and BYU. The Trojans only win in their last six games game against Arizona 41-34. USC’s roster might be more impressive at first glance, but they are not executing at a high enough level for me to trust them in this rivalry game.
Pick: Cal -4.0 (110)
