Utah vs. Stanford Prediction, Odds, Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 10
By Matt De Saro
The Utah Utes will head to Stanford Stadium this weekend to square-off against the Stanford Cardinal. The Utes are coming of a big conference win over UCLA last week and are in a good spot to keep that momentum going. The Utes are now 5-3 overall and 4-1 in conference play this season. That conference record has them first in the Pac-12 South compared to Stanford’s sixth-place rank.
Stanford’s not been so lucky over the last few weeks and has dropped three straight to Arizona State, Washington State, and Washington. Overall, the team looked rather dejected at the end of last week’s game against Washington and that does not bode well for this Week 10 matchup.

Utah vs. Stanford Prediction and Pick
Utah looked very steady and consistent in last week’s win over UCLA. The team started the game hot and never really let off the gas for all four quarters. The Utes scored four straight touchdowns to start the game and never looked back.
Stanford, meanwhile, has been a disaster this season and especially the last three weeks. The Cardinal will finish the month at the bottom of the Pac-12 North and with a 3-5 record will have to get incredibly lucky to play in a bowl this season. The loss to Washington was extra brutal because Stanford was in line to win before the Huskies scored with 21 seconds left to ruin the night for Cardinal fans. It was the second game in a row that Stanford has blown a late lead after losing to Washington State 34-31 off a late TD.
I think that Stanford will not have to worry about losing a late lead against Stanford because I don’t think they will be ahead at any point during this game. Unless coach Shaw can motivate his team to put their string of woes behind them, Utah will make quick work of the Cardinal. I think they jump out quickly again like last week and put this game out of reach early.
Prediction: Utah -7.0 (-110)
