VCU vs. Arizona State Prediction and Odds for Wednesday, November 16 (Rams Press is Difference)
By Reed Wallach
VCU and Arizona State head to Brooklyn, New York to face off in the Legends Classic.
Arizona State has gotten off to another slow start under head coach Bobby Hurley, losing in overtime to Texas Southern on the road last week, and now will face another ball pressure-centric team in VCU on a neutral floor. The Rams frantic defense will look to score an early season major victory over a PAC-12 squad.
Let's break down the odds for this one and find the best bet:

VCU vs. Arizona State Prediction and Pick
This line opened with VCU as small favorite but has been blown out to over two possessions on the news that Marcus Bagley will miss this game for Arizona State.
Bagley is a proven bucket getter on this roster, but the Sun Devils lack of ball handling is going to be a big issue againt this VCU press defense. The Sun Devils are turning the ball over at a bottom 100 rate already this season despite playing three teams outside KenPom's top 200 thus far.
This spread has been pushed out to a point that I'm not as comfortable backing the Rams, but I will side with the under given Arizona State's poor press breaking capabilities and VCU's sloppy ball handling as well (333rd in turnover rate).
This game will likely be ugly and I'll grab the under, especially with two teams that are shooting below 65% from the free throw line on the year.
