Vegas Odds for Tiger Woods Following First Round of The Masters
Tiger Woods has officially completed his first round at the 2022 Masters, which was his first competitive round of golf dating back to November of 2020.
Woods competing at all was an improbable feat that not many people expected he'd be able to do after being involved in a major car crash last year, but he didn't just show up to hit a few golf balls and go home. Tiger showed up to compete.
Tiger Woods Round 1 Recap
Tiger was one of the steadiest golfers at Augusta National today. For his first round of competitive golf in a year and a half, he looked extremely impressive.
He birdied Par 3 sixth after almost dropping it for a hole-in-one. He then bogeyed the eighth, birdied the 13th, bogeyed the 14th, and then finished with a birdie on the 16th hole before finishing with two-straight pars.
He signed his scorecard with a 1-under par, which puts him firmly in the mix heading into Friday. It was good enough for a tie for eighth when he walked off the 18th green, but that will surely change while the rest of the field finishes up. He's three strokes off the clubhouse leader, Cameron Smith.
Tiger Woods Live Odds
WynnBET won't be posting live odds until the completion of the first round, but the consensus live odds have him listed at around +3300 (33/1).
While he's certainly not at the top of the live odds board, his odds are shorter than where they were at the start of the day. And most importantly, if he can keep this up, he'll be around on the weekend which is all most golf fans could hope for leading up to the event.
