University of Alabama head coach Nick Saban is a seven-time championship winning head coach, with six of his national titles coming in Tuscaloosa including a season ago. He's stomped on nearly every coaching great in his path, with the bulk of his championships all coming within the last 10 years.

Over the Saban era in the Southeastern Conference, the odds to win the SEC, along with the College Football National Championship tend to start with the University of Alabama, and then seemingly everyone else in the distant future.

So far, that's been the trend as the 2021 college football season inches closer. The Crimson Tide are +300 at WynnBET Sportsbook to walk away with another championship, with Clemson (+450), Ohio State and Oklahoma (+700) following behind. In the SEC, Alabama is -150 to win the SEC Title game, with Georgia (+250), Texas A&M (+1200), Florida (+1500) and LSU (+200) trailing behind.

While the betting public tends to lean towards favorites, we at BetSided were curious to get the latest insight from the oddsmakers to see who else may be getting some early action ahead of the start of the season.

WynnBET oddsmaker Matt Lindeman shared with us some of the other teams making notable moves in their college football futures market so far.

“We’ve seen some interest in Georgia and Texas A&M, who appear to be in that second tier behind the Crimson Tide this season," said Lindeman.

"The other schools haven’t seen as much action, but we have seen some money come in on Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral to win the Heisman.”

Can Georgia and Texas A&M Challenge Alabama in the SEC?

Both the Bulldogs and Aggies enter 2021 with soaring expectations. Bulldogs QB JT Daniels began to hit his stride a season ago, and Georgia should have a well balanced attack in the running game with Zamir White and James Cook, as well as multiple weapons through the air with Kearis Jackson and Arik Gilbert.

Their defense is elite, leading the conference a season ago at getting to the quarterback and at the skill position spots in the secondary. If there's a team that can go toe-to-toe with Alabama, it's Georgia.

As for the Aggies, they lose four-year starter Kellon Mond to the NFL, but their top running backs and wide receivers return to help make life easier on whoever wins out at quarterback. Isaiah Spiller led the Aggies in rushing yards last year and wide receiver Ainias Smith had 43 receptions for 564 yards and six touchdowns, as well as 300 rushing yards and four more scores on the ground.

They also feature great play at tight end with Jalen Wydermyer, and last year's defense allowed the least amount of total yards and points per game.

Ole Miss, Corral Should Be Improved in Lane Kiffin's Second Season

While the Rebels are +20000 to win the College Football Playoff, as well as +5000 in the SEC, their starting quarterback Matt Corral is only +2000 to win the Heisman Trophy.

Corral took a massive leap under Lane Kiffin in his first season running the show at Ole Miss, throwing for 3,337 passing yards and 29 touchdowns. Against the 11th ranked Hoosiers in the Outback Bowl, Corral was 30 of 44 for 342 yards and two touchdowns against one of the league's best defenses a season ago.

While not known as a running threat, Corral still ran for over 500 yards and four touchdowns last year.

If he can continue this pace in the SEC, Ole Miss may be able to leap over several higher projected teams, leading Corral to continue to receive credit and move his Heisman odds up the boards.
