This was supposed to be a slopfest, low-scoring game on Sunday Night Football between the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers.
Instead, both teams took it up and down the field in the first quarter, eventually leading to a key touchdown and pushing the OVER 41 into the victory books for bettors.
The Colts continued their dominance over the 49ers with their fifth consecutive victory against San Francisco. winning 30-18 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. After starting 0-3, Indy has rebounded with two wins in their last three games to improve to 3-4 on the season. Meanwhile, since starting 2-0, San Francisco has lost their last four consecutive games.

Indianapolis closed as 3-point underdogs on the road at WynnBET Sportsbook with the total falling from the opening line of 45 down to 41 at the start of the game. After a back-and-forth 1st quarter with 19 total points, pushing the live over/under to as high as 55.5, the scoring subsided in the second and third quarters with just 13 total points.
Then in the 4th quarter, with the Colts leading 23-18, Carson Wentz connected with Michael Pittman on a jump ball in the red zone, and the talented second-year receiver from USC made the most of his opportunity.

Pittman finished with 4 receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown in the pouring rain. His quarterback, Carson Wentz, finished 17 of 26 for 150 yards and two touchdowns. He was initially credited with an interception earlier in the game, but that was later reviewed and changed to a fumble.
The Colts host the AFC South leading Titans at home next week when they look to even the series at 1-1. The 49ers travel to Chicago to take on the Bears.
