The Chicago Bears fell victim to the Green Bay Packers once again on Sunday night. They return to prime time football again in Week 15 when they host the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football.

The Vikings are one of five teams in the NFC who are at 6-7 on the year and are vying for the final playoff spot in the conference. They'll enter the game well-rested, having last played on Thursday Night Football when they down the Pittsburgh Steelers 36-28.

These two teams will meet twice in the final four weeks of the season. Let's take a look at the odds for the first matchup, courtesy of WynnBET.

Vikings vs. Bears Odds, Spread, and Total

Spread:

  • Vikings -3.5 (-110)
  • Bears +3.5 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Vikings -185
  • Bears +165

Total:

  • 44 (Over -110/Under -110)

Vikings vs. Bears Betting Trends

  • Bears are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games.
  • The UNDER is 8-4 in the Bears last 12 games.
  • The UNDER is 13-6 in the last 19 meetings between these two teams.
  • Bears are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games against Vikings.
  • Vikings are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games against NFC opponents.

Vikings vs. Bears Prediction and Pick

You may not believe it, but the Vikings offense has been among the best in the NFL this season. They rank sixth in the league in yards per play at 5.9. That's almost a full yard per play more than the Bears, who still rank 29th in the stat.

The Chicago defense, which is usually their biggest strength, has struggled this season as well. They rank 10th in opponent yards per play and the Packers torched them for 6.9 yards per play on Sunday night.

If there's one advantage that the Bears have in this game, it's that their offense should be able to move the ball on the ground. They're 11th in yards per rush, while the Vikings defense ranks 31st in opponent yards per carry, allowing an average of 4.7 per rush.

I don't trust either team to cover a spread, but the Vikings offense is strong and the Bears offense has a good stylistic matchup infront of them, so I'm going to take the OVER 44.

Pick: OVER 44
