In a night where the 2022 NCAA Tournament bracket was released, and Tom Brady announced his return to the NFL, the Minnesota Vikings announced they've re-signed Kirk Cousins. Whether it was done on purpose or not, it flew under the radar when it comes to news on Sunday night.

Cousins will now be with the Vikings presumably through the 2023 NFL season. There were rumors that the Vikings may have pursued other options at the position, but now it seems like they're set on Cousins leading the team forward.

This is bad news for Vikings fans and bettors. Sure, Cousins isn't the worst quarterback in the NFL, but in today's age of the league, you need a top tier quarterback if you want to win a championship, and the 33-year old is far from that.

WynnBET has the Vikings listed at +2500 to win Super Bowl 57, and as you might have assumed, this news did not help their odds in any way.
