Vikings vs. Panthers: Odds, Spread, Over/Under and Prediction for NFL Week 6
By Peter Dewey
The Carolina Panthers are 0-2 without Chrisitan McCaffrey, but there’s a chance that he can return for the team’s Week 6 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
Minnesota needed a long field goal as time expired to beat the Detroit Lions in Week 5, and the team’s offense has faltered in back-to-back weeks.
As for Carolina, Sam Darnold has now thrown five interceptions in the last two games and looks a lot more like his old self. The Panthers desperately need this game if they want any chance at competing in the NFC, as WynnBET has already lowered their Super Bowl odds significantly after a hot start.
Here’s a look at the odds for Sunday’s matchup:
Vikings vs. Panthers Odds, Spread and Total
Spread:
Vikings +1.0 (-110)
Panthers -1.0 (-110)
Moneyline:
Vikings: +100
Panthers: -120
Total: 46.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

Vikings vs. Panthers Prediction and Pick
McCaffrey’s status will matter a lot for the Panthers’ offense, but I like the Vikings to pull off the upset regardless.
Carolina squandered a lead against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5, and Darnold has been dreadful since the team’s 3-0 start.
The Vikings haven’t looked great either this season, but at least their losses have come to the Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals and Cincinnati Bengals (all in one possession games).
Give me Minnesota to come away with an upset win against a Panthers team that was almost certainly a fraudulent 3-0.
