Wake Forest vs. NC State Prediction and Odds (Demon Deacons Gunning for Third-Straight Win)
By Matt De Saro
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are on the road tonight to take on their ACC rivals, the NC State Wolfpack. Rivals might be giving the Wolfpack a bit too much credit as they are 14th in the conference while the Demon Deacons are third.
The Wolfpack are also coming off three straight losses while Wake Forest is on a two-game win streak and are winners of six of their last seven. Here are the odds for this conference clash, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.
Wake Forest vs. NC State Odds, Spread, and Total

- NC State +120
Total: 154 (Over -110/Under -110)
Wake Forest vs. NC State Prediction and Pick
NC State has the talent to give Wake Forest a run for its money. But the Wolfpack have not been playing up to their potential and are just going through the motions right now until the season ends.
Darien Seabron leads the team with 18 points per game but he just doesn’t have enough to make this team a threat to most opponents. Their defense ranks 299th in overall scoring and they are not a very strong rebounding team. I don’t see a path to victory for them here.
Wake Forest has the 15th ranked scoring offense in the nation and ranks third in two-point shooting percentage.
Wake Forest is 100 percent healthy heading into tonight while the Wolfpack are dealing with multiple injuries to Manny Bates and Ernest Ross. They are both out for this game along with Greg Gantt. Another plus is that the Demon Deacons are 6-1 ATS in their last seven-game.
For comparison, NC State is just 1-5 ATS in its last six games against teams with a winning record. This feels like a pretty beatable line at 3 in favor of Wake and I am going to trust the Demon Deacons to take care of business tonight.
Pick: Wake Forest -3
