Warriors vs. Celtics Prediction and Odds for Game 3 of NBA Finals (Boston Bounces Back at Home)
By Peter Dewey
We have ourselves a series in the NBA Finals, as the Golden State Warriors delivered a knockout blow late in the third quarter in Game 2 to even the series with the Boston Celtics.
Steph Curry continues to work his magic on the offensive end, but the Celtics did get a positive development with a strong game from Jayson Tatum in Game 2.
Who has the edge in a pivotal Game 3?
Let’s get into the odds for Game 3 in Boston via WynnBET:

Total:

Warriors vs. Celtics Prediction and Pick
The Warriors handily won Game 2 behind a monster run in the third quarter, but that has been the story of this series on both sides.
Boston won Game 1 with a crazy run in the fourth quarter, but the team saw some of its role players (Al Horford 1-for-4, Marcus Smart 1-for-6) struggle mightily after leading the way in Game 1.
Can we bet on the Boston role guys to bounce back after they have played so well all postseason?
I’m leaning yes, but Golden State has yet to get a solid game from Klay Thompson in this series, which could sway things if he starts to find his jumper.
That being said, I don’t think Game 3 in Boston is the spot to bank on a Klay bounce-back game. The Celtics have yet to lose back-to-back games in the playoffs, and I don’t think they start now with a raucous home crowd on their side.
Boston turned the ball over 18 times in Game 2, which really propelled the Warriors (33 points off of turnovers), and I think just cleaning that up could make Game 3 much closer.
The Celtics have still shot above 40% from 3 in each game in this series, and I’ll back them to bounce-back and retake the lead in the series.
Lean: Celtics -3.5 (-108)
