The Warriors haven’t gotten off to the best start this season. They are 3-5, haven’t been able to guard a majority of the league and are quickly falling behind in the loaded Western Conference.

They’ll face off against the Orlando Magic, who outside of Paolo Banchero’s incredible start, haven’t had much to cheer for this year.

Can the Magic get their second win of the season, or will the Warriors use them to springboard into a long run?

Warriors vs. Magic Prediction and Pick

The Warriors are in the middle of a three-game losing streak, but have a good opportunity to get back in the win column tonight. Orlando is 1-7 on the season and have the fourth-worst offensive rating in the league. Considering the Warriors have had trouble defending (25th in defensive rating), that will be a welcomed sight.

However, Golden State is 2-6 ATS this season, and I don’t have too much confidence in the Warriors covering a near double-digit spread. The Warriors are 23rd in net rating this season, finishing just 1.2-point ahead of the Magic.

When it comes to net rating, these teams are more similar than different. If Orlando can lean into its defense, it can keep the score in this game down and stay competitive.
