UPDATE: The Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors game has been postponed due to health and safety protocols.

What follows is the initial betting preview for this matchup.

The Denver Nuggets upset the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night behind another monster game from Nikola Jokic.

Golden State was without Draymond Green, who is still in the health and safety protocols, as well as Jordan Poole who should return tonight. Regardless, it was still an impressive win by Denver.

Can Golden State bounce back on the road tonight?

Here are the odds via WynnBET:

Warriors vs. Nuggets Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Warriors -4 (-110)
  • Nuggets +4 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Warriors: -180
  • Nuggets: +150

Total:

  • 214 (Over -110/Under -110)

Warriors vs. Nuggets Prediction and Pick

Nikola Jokic seriously deserves some love in the MVP conversation, as Denver is one of the worst teams in the NBA when he’s off the floor, but one of the best when he is on the floor.

However, because of that, the Nuggets are one of the worst teams in the NBA against the spread this season, going just 14-19.

Denver has beaten both the Warriors and Phoenix Suns this season, but I think this is a chance for the Warriors to bounce back with Poole back in the lineup. Granted, Green’s absence is big, as the Warriors are just 5-7 the past two seasons without him, but the Nuggets could be without Aaron Gordon (questionable) and Monte Morris (questionable).

Golden State is a league-best 5-1 against the spread after a loss this season, and I like the Warriors to cover the four points on the road.
