Warriors vs. Pacers Prediction and Odds for Wednesday, December 14 (Can Warriors Bounce Back?)
By Peter Dewey
The Golden State Warriors’ road struggles continued on Tuesday night, as the team was blown out by the Milwaukee Bucks.
Golden State is just 2-12 on the road this season, and now it has to play a back-to-back against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. The Warriors usually have sat some of their veterans in this spot, but that may not be the case today.
Last season, Golden State got out to a hot start each game, allowing the team to take its foot off the gas at times. That won’t be the case this season, as the Warriors are just 14-14 through their first 28 games.
Indiana has impressed this season, riding the strong playmaking ability of Tyrese Haliburton to a 14-14 start, although it has lost seven of its last 10 games.
The Pacers did beat the Warriors at Chase Center this season, holding Steph Curry to just 12 points in the game.
Can they repeat that performance at home?

There are a ton of things that will tell you to bet against Golden State on the road, but I’m going with the contrarian play and backing the Warriors to win.
The Pacers have really fallen off, especially on the offensive end, after a fast start to this season. The team now ranks 16th in offensive rating and 21st in defensive rating.
Both of these teams are top five in the NBA in pace, but I trust a Warriors team with Curry to control this game on offense, especially after a poor showing on Tuesday night.
Indiana is 4-3 against the spread as a home favorite this season, but the team scored just 82 points in a home loss to Miami and has dropped two of its three games on this homestand.
Steve Kerr can’t afford for Golden State to stumble on this road trip, which still has four more games remaining after Wednesday’s clash.
