The Washington Football Team and Denver Broncos will face-off in Week 8 at Empower Field with the home team opening as three-point favorites.

Washington comes into this game on a three-game losing streak, dropping games to the Saints, Chiefs, and Packers. The Football Team also failed to cover in all of those games and have just one ATS win all season, which came in Week 4 against the Falcons.

The Broncos have also hit a rough patch after starting the season 3-0 and have lost four straight heading into Week 8. Much like Washington, Denver failed to cover any of the games during their current losing streak. After opening the season 3-0 ATS, the Broncos are 0-4 ATS in their last four games.

So, which of these struggling teams will get back into the win column in Week 8? Here are the odds for this Week 8 showdown, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Washington vs. Broncos Prediction and Pick.

The Broncos defense still ranks high heading into Week 8, but that's just a byproduct of their first three weeks. Since then, no team has scored fewer than 17 points against them. Denver’s defense got shredded by D’Ernest Johnson last week for 146 yards and I think Antonio Gibson has similar success against the Broncos.

Gibson has been used more than all but four other running backs but ranks outside the top 10 in terms of total yards and touchdowns. This is a great game for him to step up and have a strong performance against the Broncos’ inconsistent rushing defense.

On the flip side, Washington’s defense is a lot easier to preview because they have been bad all season long. They rank last in the NFL in opponent points per game (30.0) and they've allowed more third-down conversion than any other franchise.

With the overall lack of defense in this game all around,  I am leaning to the over in this game. Both teams have been so bad lately that I have no desire to pick a side here. I trust nobody in this game. The only thing I do have faith in is that these defenses suck and they will continue to play as such in Week 8.

Prediction: WAS Football Team vs Broncos OVER 44.0 (-110)
