The Washington Football Team has a close loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1, a close win over the New York Giants in Week 2, then got trounced by the Buffalo Bills in Week 3. Washington could be in a good rebound spot against a struggling Atlanta Falcons team.

Atlanta were stomped in its first two games by the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but got its first win of the season on the road against a downward spiraling New York Giants team, 17-14.

Both the Falcons and Football Team offenses’ have fallen flat on several occasions, but in a battle involving two floundering passing defenses, which quarterback will rise to the occasion, Atlanta’s Matt Ryan or Washington’s Taylor Heinicke?

Here are the odds for this NFL Week 4 matchup, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Washington vs. Falcons Prediction

Heinicke has played surprisingly well under center for Washington, and will get to face the easiest passing defense he will have faced all season. Heinicke has completed 69.4 percent of his passes since taking over for the injured Ryan Fitzpatrick and has produced five passing touchdowns to three interceptions for a QB rating of 97.7.

Arthur Smith picked up his first win as head coach for the Falcons last week, but I like the structure of head coach Ron Rivera’s Football Team compared to Smith’s squad in Atlanta.

With more stability in the decision making and play calling, I’ll take the Washington Football Team over the Falcons in Week 4. I’d take Washington on the moneyline and I would take the over as well.
