Both the Washington Football Team and New York Giants are out of the playoff race, but the two NFC East foes will do battle on Sunday afternoon in Week 18 amidst some fighting words from Giants coach Joe Judge.

The Giants will be starting Jake Fromm on Sunday in his second start after a poor first one in Week 16 against the Philadelphia Eagles, and the market is siding with the Football Team making them a near-touchdown favorite.

Here are the updated odds from WynnBET Sportsbook.

Washington vs. New York Giants Prediction and Pick

This line has hung around below a touchdown but I believe that this is a motivation mismatch in Week 18.

While WFT is out of the playoff race, I believe Ron Rivera will rally the troops to beat up on an inferior Giants team that has been outscored by an average margin of more than 18 points over their last five games.

After Judge threw jabs at Washington's sideline issues in Week 16 against the Cowboys, I believe that the team is going to be more focused than the typical final week meaningless game.

Not to mention, Fromm is not a pro quarterback, as I noted in Monday's initial preview post.

"Fromm started in Week 16 for the Giants in Philadelphia and struggled mightly, completing 6 of his 18 passes for 25 yards and throwing an interception. ...The Giants with Fromm under center are arguably the worst team in the league. It's clear that this team is playing out the rest of the season with little care for the on-field product."

PICK: Washington Football Team -6.5
