If you’re not all that familiar with the Pac12, you probably aren’t familiar with the fact that Oregon and Washington really, really don’t like each other. Almost more than the in-state rivalries for both schools, these two programs have deep disdain for one another. How should bettors treat this game?

Let’s start with the odds via WynnBET.

Washington vs. Oregon Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Washington +11.5 (-115)
  • Oregon -11.5 (-105)

Moneyline:

  • Washington +480
  • Oregon -670

Total:

  • 141 (Over -110 | Under -110)

Washington vs. Oregon Prediction and Pick

My name’s Jon. Nice to meet you. I grew up in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon, and grew up as a fan of the Oregon Ducks. I have family ties to the school. The saying “Huck the Fuskies” is a common term out of Eugene, Oregon.

These two teams play each other rough and physical. In nine of the last 11 meetings between these two teams, the total has gone under. Adding to the intrigue, Oregon isn’t a strong home team this year — they’re 6-12 against the spread in their last 18 games, and are 4-5 against the spread at home.

In the last 10 meetings between these two teams, Oregon is 9-1 straight up. Yes, Ducks fans like myself love this. However, the Ducks are 6-4 against the spread in those games. Washington gets up for this game.

Washington has won four of its last five games coming into this meeting, and I expect it to give Oregon a hard-fought game. I still like Oregon to win (what kind of Ducks fan would I be if I didn’t), but I’ll take Washington to at least cover the spread in this one. I’ll throw a bone to the Huskies.

Lean: Washington +11.5
