Washington vs. Panthers Prediction, Odds, Against Spread and Over/Under for NFL Week 11
By Matt De Saro
The Carolina Panthers pulled off one of the most shocking upset wins in recent memory last week. Not only did they manage to beat the Arizona Cardinals 34-10 but Cam Newton had two touchdowns in the game. Newton, in his return to Carolina, threw for a TD and ran for another while Taylor Heinecke handled most of the actual quarterback work.
Not to be outdone, the Washington Football Team also beat up on a Super Bowl favorite and beat the Bucs 29-19. Washington held Tom Brady to just 220 yards and snagged two interceptions off the GOAT. Leonard Fournette managed just 47 yards on 11 carries in a game where the Bucs' offense just flat out stalled.
This is a tricky game to predict with the drama of Cam’s return coinciding with Ron Rivera’s return to Carolina too.

Washington vs. Panthers Prediction and Pick
The Football Team might be walking into a lions’ (Panthers?) den this weekend when Cam Newton makes his first start as a Panther at home in years. I realize that he was not very involved last week, and I agree with that call, but he did manage to score two touchdowns. If the Panthers can continue to use him as a “change of pace” QB in conjunction with Heinicke, the pair could do some damage down the stretch.
I think that the “Newton Effect” on this team and this stadium gives them an intangible edge in this game. I also think they are a better team overall, especially with Christian McCaffrey back in the mix. Another reason I feel good about the Panthers this weekend is that Washington lost their best defensive player last week when Chase Young suffered a non-contact injury that ended up being a torn ACL.
Pick: Carolina Panthers -3.0 (-110)
