After Josh Allen and Dak Prescott put a self-induced dent into their NFL MVP campaigns, it appears fellow front-runner Matthew Stafford will remove himself from short-term consideration as well.
The Rams closed as 7.5-point favorites against the Titans on Sunday Night Football over at WynnBET Sportsbook, but their quarterback has put them in a rough position in the first half.
With L.A. up 3-0, Stafford deep in the Rams' own end tried to avoid pressure on a potential safety in his own endzone, and ended up throwing the ball directly to Tennessee linebacker David Long.

One play later, Ryan Tannehill connected with tight end Geoff Swaim for the Titans to take a 7-3 lead early in the second quarter.
Not even one throw later from the Rams' 21-yard line, Stafford's pass intended for Robert Woods went haywire and into the hands of safety Kevin Byard for a pick-6.
