We still have 113 days until the start of the NFL season, but it’s never too early to put down some bets for Week 1.

While you don’t want to go all in on every game, as injuries can always take place between now and September, here are a few games I feel fairly confident about.

These are my “way-too-early” Week 1 picks with all odds listed are via WynnBET.

Best NFL Week 1 Bets

  • Jaguars +3.5 vs. Washington Commanders (-110)
  • Patriots vs. Dolphins UNDER 44.5  (-115)
  • New York Giants +6.5 vs. Tennessee Titans (-115)

Jaguars +3.5 vs. Washington Commanders (-110)

When the Commanders traded for Carson Wentz, their Super Bowl odds literally got worse.

The oddsmakers know that Wentz is a detriment to the organization rather than a plus. Now, the Commanders are more than a field goal against the Jaguars? I don’t think so. Jacksonville still has some talent on their roster and is without the toxic presence of Urban Meyer.

This is a Jaguars team that played several close games last season. Washington has to prove to me it’s a good team. Until then, I’ll gladly fade them.

Patriots vs. Dolphins UNDER 44.5  (-115)

These teams went over this line in one game, as well as under last season. Although the Dolphins now have Tyreek Hill, Tua Tagovailoa doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence. He may not be able to get Hill the ball, especially against a Bellichick defense.

On the other side, Mac Jones had the training wheels on for a majority of last season. Unless he took a major leap this offseason, the Patriots will likely continue to have a conservative passing game.

New England and Miami will get better as the year goes on, but this isn’t going to be fun to watch at the start.

New York Giants +6.5 vs. Tennessee Titans (-115)

I understand the Giants just let go of James Bradberry, but they still have a chance against the Titans. Tennessee lost both of its starting wide receivers from last season, still have an unimpressive Ryan Tannehill at quarterback, and sport an average defense – at best.

New York improved its offensive and defensive lines this offseason, and will have a healthy Saquon Barkley for at least the first week of the season.

Both teams have a lot of issues, but I don’t like the Titans being nearly a touchdown favorite.
