The English Premier League is back for another match week of action this weekend when Manchester City and West Ham United do battle at the London Stadium. West Ham will have their hands full with Pep Guardia’s team who currently leads the league by three points over Liverpool. They are the current favorites to win it all and are currently riding a five-game winning streak in EPL action. They haven’t lost a game in the Premier League since Feb. 19 against Tottenham 3-2. Meanwhile, the Hammers are seventh in the EPL with 55 points after going 1-3-1 in their last five games. This is the third time these teams face off this season with Man City winning the last game after a draw in game one.

It’s worth noting that Manchester City can just about seal its fourth league title in five years with a win over the Hammers on Sunday.

Here are the odds for the matchup courtesy of WynnBET

West Ham vs Manchester City Odds and Over/Under

3-Way Moneyline:

  • West Ham: +700
  • Manchester City: -205
  • Draw: +425

Over/Under: 3.5 (Over: +135/Under: -170)

West Ham vs Manchester City  Prediction and Pick

The odds tell a pretty obvious tale. Manchester City is a heavy favorite to win this game and keep their streak alive in the EPL. This, despite a Man City backline that has been devastated by injuries. On top of that, they lack experience and are playing a lot of guys out of their natural positions. With Michail Antonio, Said Benrahma and Jarred Bowen are all fantastic scorers and should at least get the Hammers on the board here.

asAnd despite their issues on defense, it almost doesn’t matter when you can score like City can. Kevin De Bruyne netted four goals last week against the Wolves while Raheem has three in the past two games. The Citizens lead the EPL in goals scored and goals allowed.

Furthermore, City has one of the best goalies in the world right now handling duties in the net in Ederson. He is tied with the league lead in clean sheets at 20 and ranks fifth in save percentage.

The Citizens are just so much better even when taking into account their defensive woes. As there is no value on the ML here, I’m going with the Asian Handicap.

Pick: Manchester City -1.5 (+105)
