West Virginia vs. Kansas State Prediction and Odds (Back Wildcats at Home)
By Reed Wallach
Kansas State erased a double digit road deficit to win at Iowa State over the weekend, a memorable result for Bruce Weber's Wildcats in what is becoming a better than expected season. The team has battled some early season injuries to get to 13-11 and now play host to West Virginia.
The Mountaineers really can't get on track, losing eight of their last nine games dating back to January 15th, but will look to hang tough with K-State, who is in the right spot as a favorite on Monday night.
Here are the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook.

West Virginia vs. Kansas State Prediction and Pick
This spot should set up nicely for West Virginia, but I simply can't trust this offense that can't create anything in the half court. While the Wildcats erased a big deficit to win on the road, and there could be a letdown here, the team is the best in the Big 12 at protecting the ball and the far superior shooting team.
Meanwhile, this is a revenge opportunity for Kansas State, who blew a double digit halftime lead in Morgantown last month. WVU is terrible on the defensive glass, bottom 10 in the country and are reliant on drawing fouls to mask their putrid offensive numbers (8th in Big 12 offensive efficiency).
Ultimately, I still like the Wildcats, who have become one of my play on teams in Big 12 play due to their methodical tempo and ability to make games into a grind. If West Virginia isn't generating turnovers and getting easy buckets in transition -- Kansas State is second in the country in limiting it -- their offense is severely limited.
I like KSU to pull away at the charity stripe.
LEAN: Kansas State -4
