Western Kentucky vs. UTSA Prediction and Pick

Despite the different records, the point spread is a true indication of just how close this game is. Statistically, both teams rank next to each other in several categories. Even though UTSA got the win in their previous meeting, the high-scoring affair was decided only by six points.

Because of how close the two teams are both analytically and with the eye-test, I'm going to look towards the OVER, which I think is the safest best on the board for this game. Even with the high total of 73, these teams can put up points in bunches and a total of 98 points were scored in their first meeting this season.

Western Kentucky's offense ranks fourth in the country in yards per play and fifth in points per play. UTSA also ranks high in those key stats. They sit at 42nd in yards per play and 22nd in points per play.

In a coin-flip of a conference championship game, let's just have some fun and root for points.
