The Golden State Warriors lost guard Gary Payton II and forward Otto Porter Jr. in free agency this offseason, but they made a major move by adding promising young guard Donte DiVincenzo in free agency.

DiVincenzo has appeared in three games for Golden State this season, but a hamstring injury has forced him out of the lineup. With the Warriors currently sitting at 2-2 and Klay Thompson struggling with his shot, when can fans and bettors expect the former Villanova guard to return?

Here's the latest update:

Latest Injury Update for Donte DiVincenzo

DiVincenzo could be nearing a return for Golden State, as he's expected to be re-evaluated on Monday, Oct. 31.

It's a good sign for the Warriors that DiVincenzo's injury doesn't seem serious. In the meantime, Moses Moody, Jordan Poole, Jonathan Kuminga and Thompson will handle a lot of the wing and two-guard minutes for Golden State.

DiVincenzo was averaging just 5.0 points per game before injuring his hamstring, but he has the potential to make a major impact off the bench for Golden State. After averaging 10.4 points per game in the 2020-21 season, DiVincenzo played well after being traded to Sacramento last season, posting 10.3 points per game across 25 contests.

The Warriors need some veterans to fill out their rotation, and once he returns, DiVincenzo should be right in that mix.
