The Boston Bruins are in the playoffs for the sixth consecutive year after finishing fourth in the Atlantic Division.
Boston, who ended the regular season with a 51-26-5 record, will take on the Carolina Hurricanes in the first round. The Hurricanes will be missing starting goalie Frederick Andersen but Iain MacMillan still believes Carolina has the edge.

The Bruins have won the Stanley Cup six times in club history, with the most recent being in 2011. Most of their success came decades ago though, as they also won the Cup in 1929, 1939, 1941, 1970, and 1972. So yeah, they've been around a while.
They've made the Stanley Cup Finals an obscene 20 times, with their most recent losses coming in 2013 and 2019.
