The Milwaukee Bucks are back in the postseason looking to further their case as one of the great teams in recent history.

Giannis Antetokounmpo anchors a roster that has been dominant over the last several years, behind his two MVP seasons and eventual NBA title, featuring a blend of shot making and defense that can be matched by very few.

Before we look ahead to their postseason path and prospects of a championship, let's look back at Milwaukee title history:

When Was the Last Time the Bucks Won an NBA Championship

Last year!

After several years of coming up short, the Bucks got over the hump and lifted the Larry O'Brien Trophy in 2021. The Bucks beat the Suns in six games after defeating the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference Finals, Brooklyn Nets in the semifinals and Miami Heat in the first round.

This was the franchise's second NBA Championship, the other coming in 1971, and the Bucks are in the mix for making it back-to-back in 2022 with Antetokounmpo playing at an MVP level yet again.

Bucks Odds to Win Eastern Conference, NBA Championship

The Bucks are the favorite to win the Eastern Conference (+200) and the second choice to win the NBA Championship (+500) at WynnBET Sportsbook.

Milwaukee is a massive betting favorites against the Chicago Bulls, currently -1200 at WynnBET, but will have their hands full in the second round against either opponent, the Celtics or Nets. Brooklyn and Boston have the second and third shortest odds to win the East, setting up for a big showdown in the second round.

The Bucks are the defending champs and get the benefit of the doubt, and appear to be on a collision course with the team they defeated in the NBA Finals last year once again. Antetokounmpo is averaging 29.9 points, 11.6 rebounds, 5.8 assists this season and has this team poised for another championship push.
