As the No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region, Kansas had little issue getting to the 2022 Final Four.

The Kansas Jayhawks are one of the most storied programs in college basketball history, winning 3 NCAA Tournament and appearing in 16 Final Fours, but when was the last time KU has made it? Let's dive in.

When Was the Last Time the Kansas Jayhawks Made the Final Four?

Kansas last made the Final Four in 2018 where it lost to eventual National Champions Villanova, who is ironically the Jayhawks' opponent on Saturday in this National semifinal.

While KU has had plenty of Final Four appearances, fifth all time with 16, the team hasn't had the most success overall. The team is 6-10 in these matchups, winning just two under head coach Bill Self.

Kansas' Odds to Win National Championship

Kansas is +175 to win the National Championship at WynnBET Sportsbook, the second choice to win it all behind Duke.

Of course, we are down to four teams left and the Jayhawks are considerable favorites over Villanova in the Final Four and will be favored over North Carolina in a potential National Championship matchup next Monday.

From an advanced metrics standpoint, KenPom has the Jayhawks as the best team remaining in the field, fourth overall in adjusted efficiency margin, ranking seventh on offense and 17th on defense in adjusted efficiency.

Kansas is 2-2 against the spread in this NCAA Tournament, but is in great shape to cut down the nets, through the eyes of the oddsmakers.
