The Los Angeles Rams are back in the mix with their shiny new toy, Matthew Stafford. They have an offense that can put up points, the best wide receiver in the league this year in Cooper Kupp, and superstars across the defense. It’ll be up to Stafford to lead them to the promised land.

When Was the Rams’ Last Super Bowl Win?

The Los Angeles Rams have appeared in four Super Bowls, winning one. Their lone win came when the Rams were in St. Louis, led by Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner.

In an incredible game against Steve McNair and the Tennessee Titans, the Titans came up one yard short at the goal line. “The Greatest Show on Turf” with Warner, Marshall Faulk, Torry Holt, and Isaac Bruce won the game 23-16.

Their most recent appearance in the Super Bowl did not go as well. Jared Goff and the Rams met Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LIII on Feb. 3, 2019. The Rams didn’t find the end zone, losing 13-3.

Los Angeles Rams’ Odds to Win Super Bowl 56

Over on WynnBET, the Rams aren’t being given much love. They have the sixth-highest odds of winning the big game at +800 odds. I don’t blame the oddsmakers.

Matthew Stafford is a giant question mark. Is “Good Stafford” or “Bad Stafford” going to show up?

The Rams have to get past Tom Brady (again) in their divisional matchup on the road in Tampa Bay. Stafford was smart with the ball against the Arizona Cardinals, throwing for 202 yards, two touchdowns, and no picks.

The lack of interceptions is significant. Stafford had thrown multiple interceptions in his prior three games. If that trend rears its ugly head against the Buccaneers, the Rams won’t have a chance.

If the Rams can get past Brady and the Buccaneers, then their odds will skyrocket. If you believe in them and believe that Stafford can get the job done, then the time to place your bet is now.
