The Houston Rockets are hoping to find a running mate for guard Jalen Green in the 2022 NBA Draft, and that starts with tonight’s NBA Draft Lottery

The Rockets received the No. 2 pick last season, their highest lottery selection since they won the lottery in 2002 by jumping up four spots for center Yao Ming.

Houston has picked inside the top-10 just four times in the lottery era, so the Rockets will need a little bit of luck on their side tonight.

Here are their odds to receive the No. 1 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft:

Rockets 2022 Draft Lottery Odds

The Rockets finished with the worst record in the NBA in the 2021-22 season, going 20-62, and they have a 14% chance of grabbing the top pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.

Houston was in a similar situation last season, but it fell to No. 2 in the lottery and took guard Jalen Green. The Rockets still need to rebuild to become a contender, but another top three pick would go a long way to crafting the team’s future.

Rockets NBA Draft Lottery Representative

The Rockets will have Rafael Stone, the team’s general manager representing them at the 2022 NBA Draft Lottery.

Stone is entering his third season as general manager following the departure of Daryl Morey prior to the 2020-21 season.
