Good things happen when you start off 4-0 in the NFL, especially if you're the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles' last undefeated start through their first four games came back in 2004, when Donovan McNabb, Terrell Owens, and head coach Andy Reid made it all the way to the Super Bowl.

While Reid lost out to Marty Schottenheimer of the San Diego Chargers for Coach of the Year that season, the Eagles hot start has consequently moved up head coach Nick Sirianni as the odds-on favorite to win the award this year at FanDuel.

So just how good do the books this year's Eagles team can be?

Let's take a look at their latest odds projections for the remainder of the year.

Philadelphia Eagles Win Total Odds

Philadelphia's win total has been adjusted by the oddsmakers to 12.5, heavily juiced to the over for the remainder of the season. Only the Eagles and Buffalo Bills are currently listed at 12.5 for the remainder of the year, with far more action coming in the Eagles.

With a projected record falling between 12-5 and 13-4, FanDuel has opened up a new set of futures bets to determine when their first loss will be in 2022, as well as whether they're able to make it through the regular season without an "L."

Philadelphia Eagles Odds to Go Undefeated, First Loss

The Eagles are now listed at +3000 at FanDuel to run the table and go 17-0 for the first time in NFL history.

If they are to stumble along the way, here's where the book is setting their odds for their first loss of the season from Weeks 5-18.

  • WEEK 5: at Arizona Cardinals (+210)
  • WEEK 6: vs. Dallas Cowboys (+280)
  • WEEK 7: vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (+600)
  • WEEK 8: at Houston Texans (+1400)
  • WEEK 9: BYE
  • WEEK 10: vs. Washington Commanders (+1400)
  • WEEK 11: at Indianapolis Colts (+1200)
  • WEEK 12: vs. Green Bay Packers (+1000)
  • WEEK 13: vs. Tennessee Titans (+1600)
  • WEEK 14: at New York Giants (+2300)
  • WEEK 15: at Chicago Bears (+3500)
  • WEEK 16: at Dallas Cowboys (+3300)
  • WEEK 17: vs. New Orleans Saints (+7000)
  • WEEK 18: vs. New York Giants (+6000)

When Will the Eagles Lose Their First Game in 2022?

While still very early in the season, right now, it appears the only team most likely to take down the Eagles is themselves.

Offensively, they rank second in the NFL in total offense, with a well balanced rushing and passing attack in the top 5-6 of the league.

Defensively has been the real eye-opener. Since allowing 35 points on the road to the Detroit Lions to start the year, the Eagles' defense has been spectacular.

Assuming Philadelphia remains in good health through these next four games, I project them to be sizable favorites in every game leading up to their Week 9 bye.

In Week 10, they get the Commanders at home off a bye, but then they're on the road at the Colts the following week and then home vs. the Packers in Week 12. Those are probably the two spots I would be most likely to lean for Philadelphia's first loss of the year.

The Colts have looked awful through the first four games, but history suggests Frank Reich will turn things around after Week 6, where his teams have gone 29-16 over his career. WIth a projected healthier offensive line and Shaquille Leonard on defense, I don't think it's out of the question for the Colts to pull off the upset with Philadelphia looking ahead to hosting Green Bay at home.

LEAN: Week 11 at Colts (+1200)
