If you're an NHL fan or bettor, BUCKLE UP!

For only the fourth time in NHL history, and for the first time since 2010, there are seven different series that will need at list six different games to decide them.

Hurricanes/Bruins, Maple Leafs/Lightning, Wild/Blues, and Oilers/Kings all play in a Game 6 tonight. Penguins/Rangers, Capitals/Panthers, and Flames/Stars will play in Game 6 tomorrow night.

The only team who managed to complete their series in fewer than six games, was the Colorado Avalanche who swept the Nashville Predators 4-0.

With seven series heading into Game 6, there are bound to be at least a couple of them that come back and win two-straight games. I'll breakdown my picks for the three teams who will pull it off.

All odds listed at via WynnBET Sportsbook.

Boston Bruins +280 vs. Carolina Hurricanes

While I do generally think the Hurricanes are the better team in the series, +280 odds for the Bruins to pull off the comeback presents a ton of value. That's especially the case when you consider that the home team has won in dominant fashion in each game of the series. If the Bruins can continue that trend in Game 6, then who knows what will happen in Game 7.

The Bruins also slightly outrank the Hurricanes this series in expected goals. They're averaging 3.36, compared to the Hurricanes at 3.31.

Boston is a -125 favorite in Game 6 on Thursday night.

Minnesota Wild +230 vs. St. Louis Blues

The Wild head to St. Louis for Game 6 on Thursday night, facing a 3-2 series deficit. They need to win in enemy territory, and then will have a chance to complete the comeback at home in Minnesota.

I've been on the Wild all season, and I preached that they would win this series. They were the best defensive team for the majority of the year, ranking first in both expected goals against and high danger scoring chances allowed.

The advanced analytics show they have been out-performing the Blues in this series, as well. They have an expected goals per 60 minutes of 3.34, compared to the Blues at 3.18. If they can win Game 6, they'll likely be favored in Game 7.

If you agree with me, you can back them at +230 at WynnBET to pull it off.

Edmonton Oilers +140 vs. Los Angeles Kings

This is the easiest and most popular choice if you were to ask hockey fans which team is most likely to come back and win the series. The odds reflect that as well, with no other team having shorter than +200 odds.

It's been a hotly contested series, but the Oilers outrank the Kings in the superstar department. Conor McDavid, who many view as the best hockey player on the planet, isn't going to go down without a fight.

If the Oilers win Game 6 in Los Angeles, they'll play in a winner take all game infront of the passionate Edmonton crowd where they'll be sizable favorites. You have to love the odds at +140 for them to pull it off.
