Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett is expected to rival Liberty quarterback Malik Willis as the top quarterback picked in this year’s NFL Draft.

That being said, Pickett doesn't seem to have a clear-cut home, according to the odds at WynnBET Sportsbook, as five teams have shorter than 10/1 odds to select Pickett.

Which Team Will Draft Kenny Pickett? (NFL Draft Odds)

  • Carolina Panthers: +175
  • New Orleans Saints: +200
  • Pittsburgh Steelers: +400
  • Seattle Seahawks: +800
  • Tennessee Titans : +800
  • Atlanta Falcons: +1000
  • Detroit Lions: +1500

Should Panthers Be Favorite to Select Kenny Pickett?

The first team that seems to need a quarterback is the Carolina Panthers at No. 6, but would they take Pickett?

Whether it is at No. 6 or in a trade down, oddsmakers seem to think Carolina is the most likely landing spot for the Pittsburgh QB.

I don’t love Carolina as the favorite to select Pickett, since it doesn’t have a second round or third round selection at the moment. That means the Panthers would need to take Pickett at No. 6 or trade back and take him, but I’m not sure the team will have a ton of takers for No. 6 depending on how the draft shakes out.

Pickett’s next team may also be tied to a team that wants Willis, as they could move up in the draft to select him, leaving Pickett to fall to one of the remaining teams.

What NFL Teams Could Pick Kenny Pickett in the NFL Draft?

There aren’t as many teams as usual that need a quarterback in the 2022 NFL Draft, and the Pickett-Willis duo isn’t one of the better ones we’ve seen in terms of top-notch quarterback talent.

However, oddsmakers seem to think Pickett could go to Carolina, who picks at No. 6, but it may be in a scenario where the Panthers trade down.

That would open the door for the Seahawks (No. 9, +800) or Falcons (No. 8, +1000) to grab Pickett if they really want to go in that direction.

There are several teams that seem to be in the mix for the Pittsburgh star, but the issue is Pickett may be the 1B to Willis’ 1A. If you think Pickett will get drafted first, you can take him at WynnBET at +140 odds to be the first quarterback selected.
