It's been an underwhelming season in the South Side of Chicago in 2022, but can they turn it around as the calendar flips to June?

The White Sox had lofty goals, starting with winning the AL Central, but are well off the pace to start the season and are going to need to take down elite foes like the Rays on Sunday to get back into the mix. Chicago will start Lucas Giolito in hopes of scoring a signature win against the Rays Ryan Yarbrough.

While this season has been a struggle for the White Sox, they are in good shape to grab a win against the Rays on Sunday. The team continues to dominate left handed pitching, which they face in Rays' starter Yarbrough, posting the 6th highest OPS in baseball this year. Overall, the White Sox haven't had a ton of reps against the lefties, second fewest in baseball, and I believe they can take advantage on the road.

Chicago should be in good shape too with Lucas Giolito who is looking to shake off his worst start of the year last time out against the Blue Jays. He allowed 6 runs on 8 hits in 4.2 innings, but besides that has been his typically sturdy starter, striking out nearly 13 batters per 9 innings, yet to allow more than 3 runs outside of his last.

Ultimately, I'm going to pounce on Giolito at this price, I think last start was an outlier and the White Sox should take advantage of one of the few times they see a lefty and grab a victory as they head back home to face the Dodgers.
