The Chicago White Sox are four games behind the Minnesota Twins in the AL Central heading into Sunday’s matchup prior to the league’s All-Star break.

Chicago has a good chance to gain a game on the Twins here, as starter Dylan Cease (8-4, 2.30 ERA) gets the ball against Chris Archer (2-3, 3.08 ERA).

Cease hasn’t allowed more than one earned run in a start since May, but can he keep it going against a tough Twins team?

Here are the odds for this AL Central matchup via DraftKings:

White Sox vs. Twins Odds, Run Line and Total

Run Line:

  • White Sox -1.5 (+135)
  • Twins +1.5 (-155)

Moneyline:

  • White Sox: -125
  • Twins: +105

Total:

  • 8 (Over -120/Under +100)

White Sox vs. Twins Prediction and Pick

Archer is no longer the dominant pitcher he once was, but he’s been fantastic for the Twins in a shortened role this season.

Archer has pitched past the fourth innings just four times all season, but he’s gotten the job done in those innings allowing more than two runs in just two of his 15 starts.

That, coupled with the fact that Cease has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season, has me leaning towards the UNDER in the first five innings.

Cease has given up more than two runs in a few starts, but they were all unearned over the last two months, giving me hope that he can have a shutdown game if the Chicago defense holds up.

Lean: First Five Innings UNDER 4.5 (-125)
