Who Will Catch Justin Fields’ First Career Touchdown Pass?

Once a team trades up to get a quarterback in the first round, it sends a message to the current quarterback that his time is up. The Bears sent Andy Dalton that message when they drafted Justin Fields. However, Matt Nagy is doing the best he can to give Dalton his time in the sun.

Nevertheless, it feels like a matter of time before Fields starts, and it will be interesting to see who catches touchdown No. 1 in his career.

Allen Robinson would be my pick however. Robinson is one of the best receivers in the league and his play style goes great with Fields’ arm talent. Last season, Robinson finished with 102 targets. Whoever is behind center, will be looking Robinson’s way. 

Mooney also poses some good value. Mooney had 98 targets last season and is set to be a legitimate No. 2 option for the Bears.

Chicago’s win total is set at 7.5, with the odds at a -110 pick’em. If the Bears are set to struggle, we might see Fields throw his first touchdown pass sooner rather than later.
