Who's Going to Score the Most Points for Heat in Game 2?

The Miami Heat suffered a heartbreaking loss on Saturday in Game 1 of their first-round series with the Milwaukee Bucks. Khris Middleton drilled a game-winning jumper with less than a second to play in overtime to give the Bucks a 1-0 series lead.

However, I truly believe that the Heat have some positives to take away from the loss. Miami’s two best players, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, shot just 8-for-37 from the field in Game 1, and the Heat were still able to force overtime and only lose by one possession.

Adebayo and Butler will look to rebound in a pivotal Game 2 tonight, and WynnBET has some interesting player props for Miami’s top players. Six different members of the Heat are projected to score in double-figures on Monday, but which one will lead the team?

Goran Dragic dropped a team-high 25 points on 10-of-17 shooting off the bench in Game 1, but he may not be the best bet tonight. Here are each player's projected point total on WynnBET:

Jimmy Butler: 24.5 | Over (+100)/Under (-120)

Bam Adebayo: 17.5 | Over (+100)/Under (-120)

Goran Dragic: 15.5 | Over (-120)/Under (+100)

Duncan Robinson: 13.5 | Over (-112)/Under (-110)

Kendrick Nunn: 11.5 | Over (+100)/Under (-120)

Tyler Herro: 10.5 | Over (-104)/Under (-116)

Vegas projects that Dragic could be in line for another big game on Monday, but I’m not sure that he will outscore Butler again. Butler struggled mightily on Saturday, but he still took 22 shots despite only making four of them.

Butler also attempted 10 free throws in the loss, and the rest of the Heat shot just nine for the game. Butler is going to have the most usage if things stay similar to Game 1, but Dragic and Robinson are much better shooters from beyond the arc.

Robinson torched the Bucks for seven 3-balls in Game 1, but I doubt that they will let him get loose as many times tonight. I still like him to go over 13.5 points, but I don’t see him leading the team in scoring unless he is able to get off 10-plus 3-pointers for the second straight game.

Adebayo (4-for-15 in Game 1) needs to be more aggressive for Miami to win Game 2, but having to deal with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez in the paint is going to make it hard for him to hit the over.

Butler has scored over 24.5 points in just seven of his last 22 playoff games, so while I don't like him to hit the over, I do think he leads the team in scoring tonight. The Heat didn’t go away from him in one of his worst shooting performances of his career, so I’d expect them to try get him going in a rhythm early in this one.
