One of the streakiest teams in the NHL, the Minnesota Wild, are winners of five-straight games heading into tonight's matchup, which is now tied for the longest active win-streak in the league after the Avalanche has their 10-game streak snapped last night.

Minnesota looks to extend that number to six tonight when the Wild head to Chicago to take on the Blackhawks, who have dropped their last two outings.

The Wild beat the Blackhawks in their two previous meetings this month, beating them 5-1 on January 21st, and then edging them out 4-3 in overtime the following day, on January 22nd.

I'm going to look at the total in this one, and I'm going to back the UNDER 6 at +100. Neither team has exactly jumped off the stat sheet over their last 10 games, but they've both played strong in their own end.

The Wild rank third in high danger scoring chances against over their last 10 games, allowing only 9.08 per game, and the Blackhawks rank 10th in the NHL during that stretch, allowing only 10.59.

Cam Talbot is confirmed to get the start for the Wild tonight, and he's coming off a strong start against the Rangers on January 28th where he allowed only two goals on 27 shots. A repeat performance tonight would bode well for the UNDER.
