We are nearing the end of the College Football regular season, but that just gives us more information each week to work with. As always, we’re here to point out a few Week 12 college football betting trends that stand out. These trends can be very telling and we’re going to use them to our advantage when filling out betting slips ahead of this weekend.

So, without further ado, let’s review three wild wagering trends for this week in college football using odds from WynnBET Sportsbook.

Louisiana is 9-1 straight up but 1-4 ATS on the road

The Ragin Cajuns have put together one of their most impressive seasons in recent memory with a 9-1 overall record. They are in first place in the Sun Belt and have yet to lose a game in the conference.

Louisiana heads to Williams Stadium this weekend to take on the Liberty Flames as 4.5 point underdogs and will have a tough game ahead of them. There is just one glaring issue when sifting through the betting trends. Despite a near-flawless season, the Ragin Cajuns have only covered the spread once this season when playing on the road. That game was last week against Troy as 6-point favorites.

Meanwhile, the Flames are 4-1 ATS in their last five outings and are 4-0 ATS as the home team.

Maryland is 0-7 ATS this season against Big Ten opponents

Maryland is having a below-average season in terms of wins and losses and currently sits at .500 with a 5-5 record. They have a very tough matchup against the Michigan Wolverines this weekend as 14.5-point underdogs at home. I don’t have any faith in Maryland to win this game or to cover. Why might you ask? Well, Maryland hasn’t covered a game against a Big Ten opponent in their last nine tries and are 0-7 ATS this season in-conference.

They are 3-0 this year outside of the Big Ten but fall apart when conference opponents pop up. The Terps are also 1-2 ATS as home underdogs.

Michigan, meanwhile, is 5-2 ATS in conference play and looks like a solid bet to get ready for Ohio State by beating up on Maryland.

Indiana is 1-6 ATS against Big Ten teams and 1-4 ATS at home

The Indiana Hoosiers are up a certain creek without a paddle this season. They are in last place in the Big Ten East Division with a 2-8 overall record and an 0-7 mark in conference play. Not only are they losing games left and right, but they also are not keeping them close. This is clear when you look at their overall ATS record which sits at 2-8.

This weekend, they face off against the Minnesota Golden Gophers as 7-point home underdogs. First off, the Hoosiers are 0-3 ATS as home underdogs and 1-6 as an underdog. Minnesota enters Week 12 with a 6-4 overall record and 5-4-1 ATS. Not the most dominating numbers but certainly better than Indiana. They are 1-0 as a road favorite and 3-1-0 as an away team in general.

This game has the feeling of yet another letdown by the Hoosiers in conference play.
