Rutgers beat Wisconsin 73-65 on the road two weeks ago and now has a chance to secure a season-sweep over the Badgers at home today at 6:00 PM EST.

The 16-11 Scarlet Knights have lost two in a row but have covered the spread in six of their last seven, while the 22-5 Badgers have won three in a row and can take over sole possession of the Big 10 Conference lead with a win today.

Will Wisconsin exact revenge or will the Rutgers' home-court advantage propel them to another victory?

Here are the odds via WynnBET:

Wisconsin vs Rutgers Prediction and Pick

The Scarlet Knights' home-court advantage is significant. They're 13-2 at home and 9-2 against the spread (ATS) over their last 11, but most of their damage has been done as an underdog. As a favorite, they're just 3-10 ATS on the season and I think this line is a bit of an overreaction.

In the first matchup two weeks ago, Wisconsin was an 8-point favorite. They lost outright, but I don't think the line should have swung 10.5 points in just 14 days. The Badgers have covered and won outright in four of their last five as a road underdog and with the Big Ten Conference on the line, I think Johnny Davis and company will come out steady and focused.

Rutgers shot 7/12 from beyond the arc in that first game, well above their season average of 33.7%. If they shoot like that again, so be it. But I'm expecting regression against a Wisconsin defense that ranks 36th nationally in adjusted efficiency.

The Badgers uncharacteristically turned the ball over 11 times two weeks ago and should do a better job of protecting it today. They have the 3rd-lowest turnover percentage in college basketball and Rutgers is just 172nd in defensive turnover rate.

Instead of overreacting to an anomalous performance, I'm sticking with Wisconsin to get it done today and hand Rutgers just their third home loss of the season.

Pick: Wisconsin +120
