Wizards vs. Knicks Prediction and Odds (Bet the Value on the Total)
By Reed Wallach
Two teams that have struggled of late meet at Madison Square Garden Thursday with the Washington Wizards traveling to face the New York Knicks.
The Wizards are wrapping up an extended road trip, but had their last game against the Brooklyn Nets cancelled on Tuesday due to COVID-19 Protocols with Brooklyn. Meanwhile, the Knicks come off of a win against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday.
Who can get back on track ahead of the new year? Here are the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook.
Wizards vs. Knicks Odds, Spread and Total

Total: 211 (Over -110/Under -110)
Wizards vs. Knicks Prediction and Pick
Both offenses have struggled over the past two weeks, each outside the top 20 in offensive rating per NBA.com, and that's driving me to the total in this game, which is lined at 211.
The Knicks are playing at the third slowest pace in the league over the last two weeks and with each offense sputtering I expect a ton of bricks and drawn out possessions on Thursday night. Factor in that this is the final game of a 10-day road trip for Washington, you can see some poor play and some fatigue.
One other note: each team is top half of the league in turnover rate. While that sounds like it will help the over, I like this game to be more of a grind with limited transition opportunities the other way. I'll stick with the under in a sleepy spot for the Wizards.
PICK: UNDER 211
