The Washington Wizards and the Los Angeles Lakers, both trying to make the play-in tournament, will face off tonight from Hollywood. The Lakers are 2-8 in their last 10 games and are coming off an overtime loss to the Houston Rockets.

Washington has already lost to the other team in Los Angeles, falling to the Clippers on Wednesday. Can they leave L.A. with a win?

Here are the odds for the matchup via WynnBET.

Wizards vs. Lakers Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Wizards: +4 (-110)
  • Lakers: -4 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Wizards: +150
  • Lakers: -180

Total:

  • 228.5 (Over: -110/Under: -110)

Wizards vs. Lakers Prediction and Pick

I think the Lakers are going to win this game, but I honestly cannot trust them against the spread. Los Angeles seems to be in free fall every night.

On paper, this is a game for the Wizards to win. They have been better in the last 10 games, have a better net rating and have the second-best effective field goal percentage in that span.

The one thing keeping me away from picking them outright is the fact that LeBron James is on the other side. James is the best player in this game and already has had his letdown game following his 56-point performance.

If James and the Lakers can shoot decently from three tonight, I think they can win. However, they are the most predictably chaotic team in the league, so Washington gets the play on the spread.

Lean: Wizards +4 (-110)
