World Series Odds: Dodgers Reach New Heights as Favorite
By Peter Dewey
The MLB trade deadline has come and gone, and the rich have gotten richer, as the Los Angeles Dodgers, Houston Astros, Chicago White Sox, San Francisco Giants and other top contenders all improved their rosters ahead of the stretch run.
The Dodgers made the biggest move of all by acquiring All-Star shortstop Trea Turner and ace Max Scherzer, who will make his debut tonight, from the Washington Nationals.
Still, the Giants brought in Kris Bryant, the New York Yankees made moves for Anthony Rizzo and Joey Gallo, and the White Sox fixed their bullpen with Ryan Tepera and Craig Kimbrel.
With so many teams selling at the deadline, WynnBET has updated its World Series odds to reflect the current state of baseball. The Dodgers, who were at +325 odds at the All-Star break, have gained some ground on the field, but there still are several teams in the mix.
