The Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic continues Wednesday evening with a showdown between the Wyoming Cowboys and Stanford Cardinal.

Wyoming comes off a 74-62 win over Utah Valley at home their last time out. The win brings their record to 9-1 on the year and leaves them in second place in the Mountain West. The team is led offensively by Graham Ike who is putting up 19.6 points per game and 8.5 boards. Overall, the Cowboys are scoring 79.7 PPG and snagging 38.2 rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Cardinal are 6-4 heading into Hawaii and currently rank seventh in the competitive Pac-12. They dropped their last game out against No. 17 Texas but won back-to-back games before that. Led by Harrison Ingram with 12.8 PPG and 6.9 RPG, the Cardinal are averaging 70.1 PPG as a team but allowing 69.8 PPG on defense.

Wyoming vs. Stanford Prediction and Pick

The main hurdle for Stanford in his game will be their lack of offensive firepower. The Cardinal are outside of the top-175 in terms of points per game, and assists to turnover ratio. The lack of a knockout punch has been an issue for Stanford and a big reason why they are just 3-6-1 against the spread (ATS). They are bad from the line, from deep, and also are not very good on the defensive glass with just 23.9 defensive rebounds per game.

While the Cowboys are not exactly a world-class talent, I think they are a step above what Stanford is putting out right now. Both their offense and defense rank in the top-60 and they are winning games by an average margin of 13.3 PPG. The Cowboys have been a good bet-on team this year as well with a 6-2-1 ATS record and are 2-1 as an underdog. The offense has multiple guys who can step up and take over this game and makes Wyoming a strong underdog play tonight.

Pick: Wyoming +100 moneyline
