Yankees vs. Brewers Prediction and Odds for Friday, September 16 (Back OVER)
By Reed Wallach
The New York Yankees have bounced out of their late summer funk and are back to their winning ways.
The Yankees, led by likely AL MVP Aaron Judge and his 57 home runs, head to Milwaukee to face a Brewers team that is fighting for their playoff chances. New York is holding a comfortable lead in the AL East, but can pad their six-and-a-half game lead in the division on Friday.
Here are the odds for this matchup at Miller Park from FanDuel Sportsbook:

The Yankees' offense is back on track as the team is getting healthier. The team is top 10 in on-base percentage over the last week after spending the better part of a month in the bottom 10. The team heads to Milwaukee in good form at the plate and gets a favorable matchup to start this series, facing the Brewers Adrian Houser.
Houser's ERA has been north of 4.00 this season as he walks nearly four batters per nine innings. New York should have little issue getting on base against Houser and a Brewers bullpen that has fallen off over the course of the season.
The team traded their swiss army knife reliever Josh Hader and will fade as the game continues. Over the past two months the team has been a below big league average bullpen.
Meanwhile, Frankie Montas has been streaky since arriving in New York. He'll face a Brewers offense that is also starting to resemble a postseason threat, also top 10 in OBP over the past week.
I don't trust either pitching staff and both offenses are in good form, so give me the over.
