The Baltimore Ravens came away with the most impressive win in the NFL in Week 2, upsetting the Kansas City Chiefs at home.

After two tough AFC West opponents to open the season, Baltimore gets a bit of a reprieve in Week 3 when it faces the lowly Detroit Lions. Detroit has allowed 76 points through its first two games and will be on a short week after falling to the Green Bay Packers, 35-17, on Monday Night Football.

Lamar Jackson and company need to take advantage of every easy opponent this season in the tough AFC North, and oddsmakers think this should be an easy win for Baltimore.

Here’s what the odds look like at WynnBET Sportsbook for Sunday’s 1:00 p.m. EST matchup:

  • Baltimore is 16-13 against the spread as a favorite since 2019.
  • The Ravens and Lions are both 2-0 on over this season.
  • The Lions are 1-1 against the spread this season.
  • The Ravens have won the last three meetings between these teams.

Ravens vs. Lions Prediction and Pick

The double-digit spread may scare away some bettors, but the Ravens’ offense is a perfect fit against the Lions. Detroit has allowed the second-most points in the NFL this season (76) and the Ravens should be able to pound them into submission with their running game and short-passing game.

Aaron Rodgers picked apart the Lions with passes to running back Aaron Jones. The injuries to cornerback Jeff Okudah (out for the season with an Achilles injury) and rookie Ifeatu Melifonwu (injured his thigh in Week 2) leave the Lions razor thin on defense.

Jackson and the Ravens proved that they are for real with their upset win over the Chiefs, and I don’t think the lowly Lions will be able to backdoor cover like they did in Week 1. After a strong first half in Week 2, Detroit came back to earth and was shutout in the second half.

Give me the Ravens to cover the 10-point spread and improve to 2-1.
